Denise's practice focuses on estate planning, wills and trusts, and probate administration. She works with clients to prepare their wills, related trusts or trust provisions in their wills, financial powers of attorney, medical powers of attorney, living wills, and related documents. She and her clients discuss beneficiary designations on life insurance policies, retirement accounts, annuities, and other assets. They cover asset titling issues, i.e., whether assets should be held as joint tenants, tenants in common, in the name of a trust, etc. Beneficiary deeds may be considered. Charitable giving approaches may also be considered, including sometimes the creation of charitable remainder, annuity, or lead trusts.

Denise's work in probate administration includes court probate proceedings, small estate affidavit procedures, working with clients to inventory assets and obtain important date of death valuations on assets, tax planning and reporting issues, trust distribution and termination matters, heirship determination matters, and trustee issues.

Denise strives to have a personal connection with her clients. She meets with them in person and personally prepares their legal documents. She provides exceptional service and quality legal documents in a timely manner at a reasonable cost.

Denise's office is in a building originally constructed in 1893 as a residence. In the decades since, the building has housed one of the first women physicians in Loveland, and served as a medical clinic and assisted living center. The building was remodeled in 1995 for several professional offices.
